Creativity was always his main option, so he obtained a degree in Industrial Design at ESAD (College of Art and Design - Caldas da Rainha). As a designer at the SOCEM group, it was always possible to be connected to interesting and innovative projects in the automotive sector. Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Product Engineering, 3D Modelling and Printing are the main areas of expertise developed during his professional career. The INPPUT Project is without a doubt his broadest and most enriching experience in the area of Design. Other projects such as “Maisin” or INLogo Design (#inlogodesign) also make up fantastic experiences. “always in Process”.
DIGITALAB is an architectural office, design studio and creative lab, focused on both generative design and digital fabrication. It is a young, multidisciplinary practice led by
Ana Fonseca and Brimet Silva, that develops projects in several fields: product design, art installation, interior design, architecture and digital research.DIGITALAB are committed to employing new technologies in the production of forms and spaces, exploring strategic combinations between generative processes(Computational design) and digital fabrication technologies (3D printing, CNC, laser-cutting and robotics). Their goal is to explore the potential of digital tools as creative weapons to transform pixels into atoms, and virtual processes into physical objects and environments.
